About the Author
Ratnesh Poddar is not just a storyteller—he is a story still unfolding.
Born in Bihar and shaped by cities as diverse as Delhi, Ranchi, London, Kochi, and Oman, Ratnesh’s life has been a relentless odyssey of love, loss, resilience, and rediscovery. His writing is grounded in lived experience: an arranged marriage that assessed his spirit, fatherhood that became his anchor, political activism that became his voice, and travel that healed and transformed him.
With a background in technology and a soul rooted in poetry and truth, Ratnesh has spent his life bridging the divide between emotional honesty and practical survival. He has worked in both the corporate and political trenches, balancing data and dignity, campaigns, and conscience. A proud father, a quiet rebel, and a man who refused to be defined by anyone else’s script, he now finds strength in sharing his own.
In this, his debut novel, Ratnesh chronicles not just the places he has been but the man he has become. His words are not polished for perfection—they are etched with sincerity, rawness, and the courage to remember.
When he is not working, writing, or volunteering, he can be found exploring forgotten corners of cities, engaging in thoughtful dialogue over tea, or simply sitting in silence—listening to life.
This book is not the end. It is a beginning.
