Explurger Powers Hyderabad Soldierathon as Official Social Media Partner – Civilians and Soldiers Run Side by Side in First Edition

Hyderabad, March 2026 – Explurger, as the official social media partner, played a key role in capturing the excitement and spirit of the inaugural Federal Bank Hyderabad Soldierathon, which brought together over 4,000 participants, including civilians, serving defence personnel, veterans, and families. For the first time in Hyderabad, the marathon took place inside an Indian Army establishment, creating a historic platform where soldiers and civilians ran shoulder to shoulder, celebrating fitness, unity, and patriotism.

Organised in collaboration with defence authorities, the Soldierathon featured multiple categories – 21 km Half Marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km runs – making it accessible to runners of all ages and fitness levels. Cash prizes and trophies were awarded across age groups for both men and women, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and inclusivity.

Major Surendra Poonia, VSM, Founder of the Soldierathon, said:
 “Seeing soldiers and civilians run together was truly inspiring. I thank the Artillery Centre, Federal Bank, all volunteers, and every runner who made this possible. With your support, we aim to grow to over 10,000 runners next year. This run also allows us to support Matruchhaya, which cares for specially-abled children of our brave soldiers.”
