Courtly Launches Corporate Games, a Quarterly Pickleball League Built for Employee Wellbeing

NEW DELHI, India — Most workplace wellness programmes live and die inside a single onboarding email. Courtly Corporate Games (https://bit.ly/courtlycorporategames) – launched today by Courtly Technologies, is a quarterly pickleball league built to change that, a recurring, structured reason for employees to move, unwind and connect outside the office, not a one-time perk. The programme is already live in 5 cities — Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune, with 3 more on the way, giving HR and people teams a ready-made platform for employee welfare that runs every quarter, all year.

The format is designed around consistency, not just novelty, the thing most workplace wellness initiatives struggle to sustain. Four seasons run every year, each with six match days on alternating Saturdays, so employees build a genuine habit of movement rather than a single wellness-week memory. Teams of 8–10 employees compete across four categories — Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Split-Age Doubles (35+), and Gender-Neutral Doubles, through a double round-robin league stage, knockouts, and a final, deliberately mixing seniority levels and departments on the same roster. Pricing stays simple for HR budgets to plan around, every team costs a flat ₹1,00,000 a quarter, no bulk discounts and no fine print, with the one exception being a 10% discount for a single team that commits to all four seasons upfront.

Beyond the roster, Courtly runs an on-site office activation clinic that brings the programme to the full workforce, not just the players on a team sheet, so the wellbeing benefit reaches employees who never pick up a paddle competitively. Every match is professionally officiated and captured by a dedicated photography and videography team, and results feed a live corporate ranking system on Courtly’s platform, tracked across every city, giving teams something to build camaraderie around all year.

“We kept hearing the same thing from HR teams, wellness budgets exist, but nothing on the calendar actually gets people to show up more than once,” said Tanishq Mahendru, Founder & Director of Courtly. “Corporate Games is our answer to that. It’s not a one-off activity day, it’s a genuine welfare programme employees stay with because there’s a season, a ranking, and a reason to come back every quarter. We wanted something companies could point to and say, we’re actually doing something for our people’s wellbeing, not just checking a box.”

“What surprises HR teams most is how many people who haven’t been active in years show up for the office activation clinic and end up wanting a spot on the team,” said Ayush Joshi, Head of Operations at Courtly. “That’s really the point, this isn’t built for the office’s already-fit crowd, it’s built to pull everyone else off their desks too. The ranking system just gives that a reason to stick.”

Companies can field one team or several, some sign up department by department, turning it into an inter-office rivalry as much as a company outing. Registrations for the upcoming season are open now across all five live cities, with the three new cities to be announced in due course.
